Sheridan Blake Executive Search are looking to recruit a Data Analyst (Clerk) based in Llanelli.

Overview 
Responsible for collating and analysing data from a number of software systems to produce Key Performance Statistics  which enables Production Managers and other users to measure and therefore improve business performance, primarily around the Manufacturing areas.  

Key Tasks / Responsibilities

?    Daily, weekly and monthly monitoring of key business processes using specific software (Captor, SAP and others) to run reports and collate data
?    Collation of statistics to enable performance monitoring
?    Reporting the results of these processes performance into KPI for use within the Production (and other) areas.
?    Promoting the continuous improvement of these Processes to improve business performance
?    Daily, weekly and monthly monitoring of key business processes using specific software (Captor, SAP and others) to run reports and collate data
?    Collation of statistics to enable performance monitoring
?    Reporting the results of these processes performance into KPI for use within the Production (and other) areas.
?    Promoting the continuous improvement of these Processes to improve business performance
?    Extraction of data and reports from existing business software
?    Monitoring of key performance metrics including Production Volumes, OEE, Production downtime, Efficiency, Scrap, Overhead expenditure,
?    Review of data and challenging potential inaccuracies, ensuring team members are aware of errors and follow corrective actions to resolve the root cause.
?    Monitoring of Key Performance Indicators and provide information for Departmental reporting in the form of PowerPoint , tables , graphs etc.
?    Reporting to Departmental Managers in formats which are in line with the Divisional and Madrid Central standards. 
?    Challenging existing routines to promote development.
?    Monitoring low performance areas to focus on cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
?    Ensure that adequate communication takes place internally: relevant issues are to be communicated to production departments (and others) and information is to be escalated appropriately. Key areas to coordinate with are: Team Leaders, Shift Managers, Maintenance, and Logistics. 

Skills, Qualifications and Experience necessary
These should include:
?    Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel  but also Word and Powerpoint
?    Able to interrogate data and drill into root cause of errors through an understanding of OEE and the factors that go into determining the press/line performance (Cycle times, parts per stroke, etc) and an ability to investigate  when figures are not displaying what is expected. This will also require an understanding of the physical processes on the production lines.
?    Have a basic working knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP R/3) 
?    Willingness to learn business systems – software and processes.
?    Be able to communicate effectively to Shop Floor and Managerial personnel.
?    Ideal candidates should be educated to HNC or preferably degree level.
?    GCSE Mathematics Grade C or above essential.
?    Preferable, though not essential, to demonstrate success in a high quality, high volume, lean environment.

?    Highly organised with the ability to effectively manage time and prioritise workload. 
?    Open to change and have a can-do approach. Willing to learn to use new software systems to extract data. 
?    Eager to understand business processes.
